Kuwait Electrical Wiring Accessories Company or KEC has a history going back to 1976 when a group of five prominent Kuwaiti businessmen signed an agreement with MK Electric Limited of the UK to set up a joint venture for the manufacturer and regional supply of MK Wiring Devices. Over the years, MK and KEC, have become synonymous for quality electrical wiring devices and KEC in that time built a market leading position in Kuwait. Today headquartered in Ahmadi, the private partnership business features  showrooms plus offices in Kuwait City and a network of distributors nationwide. The share holding, now 100% Kuwaiti, is divided equally between five prominent local Kuwaiti Partners who between them have held several prominent local positions in the Kuwait community.
